Lenten Lunches for 2010

This year the Parish will again be holding 'Lenten Lunches'.
Each Wednesday during Lent (starting on Ash Wednesday 17th Feb) the Parish community are invited to come along for 12noon in the Parish Hall for a selection of home-made soups and rolls to enjoy with fellow parishioners. We are asked to make a contribution to CAFOD and will start the lunch with a prayer or short reading.
This way, the community can come together to celebrate the meaning of Lent, with prayer, fasting and alms giving.
You are welcome to attend whether you can come for one lunch or all of them! Everyone is invited.
